According to Guillaume, a Google Adsense Engineer, Google doesn’t “take traffic from social media sites into account”. So that means that in order to obtain a good amount of valid web traffic the website’s quality must be prioritized and enhanced. Engineer Guillaume explains why a website may experience a decrease on Google Adsense earnings. And below are the reasons why:
-Invalid clicks. Google looks at individual clicks and impressions, and tries to find out if they are valid or not. Google’s algorithms determine the quality of the traffic by detecting invalid clicks accurately.
-Conversions and smart pricing. Are users truly paying attention in the ads they click? Are they generating conversions to advertisers? Google does not conclude in advance that a kind of traffic is of high-value. Instead, Google measures the conversion rate, and applies Smart Pricing accordingly.
Many publishers are reporting some irregularity with Google Adsense when they realize that their Adsense earnings are falling. They’re thinking that their web traffic is of high quality and refuse to admit that the quality of their website has something to do with it. So the problem is not with Google but theirs.
Since Google Adsense doesn’t depend on statistics, evaluating the quality of your website, estimating your web traffic, gathering facts and looking carefully at reports works better in maximizing your Adsense earnings.
Lastly, a simple word of advice instead of thinking of ways to fool Adsense you should learn how to work with adsense instead. This is the only way you can properly make money with Google.
