Google Penguin Update Recovery Tips

Google’s last Penguin update has produced a tremendous effect on many websites; even the big players have found their website traffic has dramatically decreased.

If your website was hit hard by the latest Google Penguin update, it’s important to try and implement some of the tweaks in order to get back in the rankings as quickly as possible.

Being able to understand what went wrong is the initial step to helping bring your site back to life.

Perform a Site Audit – Take a moment to review your website and find the bad pages that may be hurting your search ranking. You can either remove, or update these pages. Also, check out your link profile and try to find a common theme to why you may have been hit. Begin with what you have done before making drastic changes to the entire website.
