How To Map Your Keywords Using Google Analytics

How To Map Your Keywords Using Google AnalyticsHere are some tips on how to map your keyword list using Google Analytics. These are the keywords you will be using on the landing pages of your site.

-Choose your traffic sources and your important keywords

-Set a date range of about 3 to 6 months (it might be less if you’ve created a good number of changes to your website that might have affected your page rankings. For example if you have changed your websites’ URLs, etc.)

-Then select either a Goal Set tab or the Ecommerce tab

-Select the second drop down menu to pick another Dimension

Now you can export the results to a spreadsheet and add a Conversion column where you can calculate the numbers of your conversions. For e-commerce websites with Analytics Ecommerce set up, you can take more detailed data including revenue.

Then sort this data by landing page, then by conversions, and you’ll see that it basically maps the important keywords to the pages on your site.
